A campaign is the top-level container for all your data in Mithos. Each campaign has its own party roster, NPC library, bestiary, notes, settings, and window layouts. Switching campaigns reloads everything for that campaign.
Creating a Campaign
Open the three-dot (⋯) menu and click Campaigns, then click New Campaign. The Campaign Wizard opens.
Campaign Wizard steps
Step 1 – Name & System
- Enter a campaign name.
- Choose a game system.
- Optionally upload a campaign icon (shown in the menu bar).
Step 2 – Party Fields Choose which fields appear on each party member card. This is not intended to be a full character sheet, but the relevent stats that you need to see for you character at all times.
Step 3 – Party Members Add your players’ characters. Enter each character’s name and optionally upload a portrait image. Characters can also be added or edited later from the Party Tracker.
Step 4 – Combat Stats What fields in your party cards are combat relevant? Which one determines your turn order? What stat is your HP, and what stat is your Max HP?
Finish the wizard to create the campaign and open it immediately.
Switching Campaigns
- Open the three-dot (⋯) menu and click Campaigns.
- Find your campaign in the list.
- Click Load.
When you switch, the previous campaign’s window layout is saved automatically. The new campaign restores its own last-used window layout.
Editing a Campaign
In the Campaigns modal, click the edit (pencil) icon next to any campaign to change its name, system, or icon.
Deleting a Campaign
In the Campaigns modal, click the trash icon next to a campaign. This removes the campaign from the list. Campaign data remains in local storage but is no longer accessible through the UI.
There is no undo for campaign deletion. Be certain before proceeding.
Demo Campaign
On first launch, a demo campaign is provided with sample party members and a pre-configured window layout. You can explore it freely or delete it when you are ready to start your own campaign.
